MBs all the way for me! Some top notch traps.
Only thing that keeps me from buying alot of them is their price!

Some people say they are crappy, i have had no problems with them! Just a little extra work modifiying them, and they work great! Never had a pull out from anything, that was the duke traps fault!!

I have, but I dont think I was making good catches with them. Notice, i said I never lost anything, that was the traps fault. Not to be picky, but i can almost gaurentee that those pull outs might, and probally were your fault. I had alot of pull outs that were my fault...and i still do! Could i ask you what you were running as far as pan tesion on your traps? also, what were you trapping for? Theres no denying that you will always have pull outs even with properly adjusted traps...but i have yet to lose a critter with the dukes that was the traps fault

Ya i know I ment that i was having toe catches or just getting them. I think my place ment wasnt real good. I dont remember the pan tesion, i think about 3 or 4 pounds. I was going for fox. The one set was close to the road but behind trees and brush, and the day i found the hair in that trap i found 2 deer by the entrance to the property, people could have heard it or saw the fox and went over there and stole it.

the hair in the trap was prolly because the animal was rolling and set it off with his back and the trap got hair

It's tough to say in that scenareo. I have had alot of those quick pinches. I would tend to say alot was from deer, or if you have the longer hairs in the jaws, prolly from a k9 rolling. Or even from a improperly bedded traps. Either way, it's going to happen, but i try my best to elimenate that at all possible times!

little brother short means you had a pull out due to either poor trap covering, meaning the trap wobbled when the animal stepped down or poor pan tension, both easy to fix,
remember this short in most cases means pull out long hair eans rolling, what happens when the animal rolls a lot of time you get the long hair from the animals back , but just the same time both cases could also be cheek rubbing, learn to look closer at the catch circle and the trap and let the animal show you , the info is there if you take the time to look
