so anyways i trap water with foothold conibears and also snares, i never new you could use snares to water trap till a few months ago but i got 6 set out for beaver, i like drownder sets and pocket sets for water and if im useing a snare i just tie it off or steak it off to something stteaking makes it look more natural alos stic some srigs or branches in the water not to bog the dont want them to get cought on the snre hoop. just big enought to help camofluagh the snare. hen setting i drownder for any game i typicly use 2 sideing bricks, if i dint have any of those i use sand bags if i dont got them i use a bag of rocks and of course hool it all up to the foot hold i also like to use slide poles there really affective for me u usally stick conibears i beave runs 330s, 220 for otter, and ect 110 squirrel rabbits mink 160 mink to, i got alot more sets but we will have to get tothem later there is so much to do in the water with trapping that we can teach eachother. hope to get alot of replies on here.

You guys know I am not a coon guy, but somebody mentioned sardines. Grind them up and mix in a little honey, or maple syrup. If you dont want grinners dont use this on land.
