One thing a lot of folks seem to forget. All the animals we trap as furbearers need water. Fox, coyote, coon, possum etc. When walking along a stream or pond, lake, look fo rtrails on the bank abover the normal high water mark. These trails are great places to make bilnd set, dirt holes sets or to hang snares.
A flat set or urine post will also produce.
Dont forget the animlas need water same as you and I do.

But you do have to remember some get there water from there food. This is ture of alot of animals. But the critter we trap are not liek that. They need water and some of them need water daily. The beaver and rats also the nutria comsume a lot of water everyday from the water they live in. The K-9, mink, bobcats etc all have to drink water from some sort of a water body.

They get some Happer. I have seen fox drinking from streams and ponds last summer. I spent a good bit of time last year watching fox with my binocs.
